Have you ever gotten so engrossed in a book that it's all you can think about for days? As you read the words, it's like you're not even seeing the pages anymore but rather watching the story unfold right before your very eyes. You fall in love with the characters and root for them on their journey while hating the villain with all of your being. We’ve all been there at some point or another. We also all know what it feels like to finish this amazing book, only to realize its sequel isn’t out yet. As an bookworm, I can easily relate to the extreme range of emotions that occur while waiting for the sequel to be published.

1. When you finish the first and realize the second one isn't out yet...

What am you supposed to do now? This book took up most of your life and what little free time you had!

2. How you feel while waiting for the sequel to be announced...

I mean, they have to make a second one, right? It can't end like this!

3. When they finally announce the sequel...

You need to know what happened to your favorite character right now, immediately. It's not even a question on waiting.

4. And then when you realize how long you have to wait for it...

You're convinced publishers are just trying to see how long they can test your patience for. Sixteen months?!

5. Your face when the cover art finally come out...

The waiting must be worth it because how could just a cover and a title hold so much promise?!

6. When you wait months without hearing another word about it...

We're not crazy right? They did announce this sequel? We need more info ASAP or we might just go crazy!

7. Then the author finally posts a teaser on their website...

They remembered! It wasn't all an illusion! The author really does care about their readers!

8. And then you finally read the teaser...

It's possible the author may enjoy slowly killing their readers with teases that make no sense and hint at things you never thought possible.

9. Just to be left in the dark again...

It has been confirmed that authors just love torturing us. It's okay, we still love you.

10. And you try to vent about your feelings to your friends...

But they just don't understand . . . This series is your life now and you just might love the characters more than you love yourself.

11. Then the next thing you know there's only month left of waiting...

We've made it this long, one more month hardly seems like a challenge. Besides, you've already had the book pre-ordered for weeks. You can do this!

12. And then you have the book in your hands, ready to read!

This is not a drill! All of your friends know to leave you alone for the next day and a half so you can read the book with minimal interruptions. You can't believe the moment has finally arrived.

13. When you finish the sequel...

Just as soon as it began, it's over. It's everything you could have hoped for and more, but it ended too quickly after waiting for so long.

14. And you just know there's going to be another book...

There has to be more after the giant cliffhanger the sequel ended with, and you're not sure if your heart can take it.

15. And you're going to go through this all again.

We're back where it all began: waiting in utter agony for the next book to come out. Well, it was nice while it lasted.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
