Soundtracks from movies aren’t recognized as much as they should be, but they play a big part in a film's success. I have often found that my memory holds on to some movie scenes more than others because of the song playing the background. There’s no better feeling than when a song comes on the radio or on shuffle on your phone and it instantly takes you back to watching that movie. Here are 15 songs that can’t be played without thinking of the movies that originally featured them.
1. “Dirty Little Secret” by The All-American Rejects
The only person who's got the dirty little secret is John Tucker.
2. “I’m Just A Kid” by Simple Plan
Remember half of the Baker family joining hands and walking confidently into school together?
3. “Island In The Sun” by Weezer
Yeah, remember watching Aquamarine in middle school and dreaming of being able to dance with Raymond as this tune played in the background? Same.
4. "I'll Be” by Edwin McCain
Close your eyes, press play, and see Chad Michael Murray slightly bent over with his hand out waiting for Hilary Duff to grab hold of it and begin dancing under a beautiful starry night in A Cinderella Story.

Justin Timberlake. Mila Kunis. Flash mob. Grand Central Station. You know you remember!

Never forget when the Olsen twins crowd surfed (with their dog) while this song was playing in New York Minute.
