15 Songs Needed For A Night Out

When getting ready for a night out on the town you always need that pump-up playlist to get you excited and ready. You need a good balance between upbeat dancing songs and the relaxed, but still uptempo songs. Here is my playlist that I listen to when getting ready for a night out:

1. "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran

This song is just such a feel-good song, and it has such a nice beat that it kind of eases into the night. I also am in love with Sheeran, so anything written by him automatically just makes me happy.

2. "I Don't Mind" by Usher

This song is currently always on repeat for me. It is so upbeat and catchy. It's something that can easily get your blood flowing and your hips moving.

3. "Post To Be" by Omarion

First of all, when watching this video you get to experience two of the hottest guys so that is already a win. Secondly, it is so catchy and makes you just want to have a good time.

4. "Amnesia" by 5 Seconds of Summer

Five Seconds of Summer is one of my favorite bands and this song has so much meaning and is wonderful to listen to. This song is slower, but still has a beat that keeps you excited.

5. "She Looks So Perfect" by 5 Seconds of Summer

While we are on 5 Seconds of Summer, we might as well go to their first big hit. I honestly turn this song on full volume at any time of the day for any reason. It is just so catchy and it just really gets you moving, which is very important.

6. "Show Me" by Kid Ink

This song continues the pace of wanting to move but has more of a different beat compared to the rest of the songs. It is kind of more relaxing in a sense.

7. "Ignition (Remix)" by R. Kelly

I am going to throw it back, but this song is just too good not to listen to when you are getting ready to go out. It brings back so many memories, and is so much fun to dance to and to watch everyone else dance along.

8. "Yeah" by Usher

While I am at it, I might as well keep the throwbacks alive and bring back "Yeah." Everyone knows this song, so everyone can dance and sing at the top of their lungs. This song doesn't even need an explanation.

9. "Stole The Show" by Kygo

This song gives a different vibe compared to the rest of the songs. You can still dance to it, but it is just so much fun to listen to! And for any Spartan fans, it bring back Final Four memories.

10. "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa

Again, another song that doesn't really need an explanation, but it has such a deep meaning and it is a must to listen to.

11. "Best Song Ever" by One Direction

Now, most people I know are not One Direction fans, but I, however, love them. This song is so upbeat and fun to listen to. Then, watching them trying to dance at the end makes the song that much better. This song will get you up and dancing for sure.

12. "Shut Up and Dance With Me" by Walk The Moon

The song title explains it all, but it really does make you want to get up and dance and just get crazy.

13. "Paint The Town Green" by The Script

This song is really a must for St.Patty's day, but it gets you pumped up for any other day as well. The beat to this song is again more relaxed at points but it is also upbeat.

14. "Young Wild & Free" Wiz Khalifa

This song just makes whatever you are doing acceptable because you are young. It is just kind of a reminder that you need to enjoy being young. It is also very upbeat.

15. "Act My Age" by Hoodie Allen

This is keeping the theme of living while you're young and enjoying every part of life. This song is a tad harder to dance to, but it gets you excited for what is to come of the night.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
