1. "Just one more episode"
Ahh, the famous words of every Netflix lover. You start watching the first episode of the night and next thing you know you're five episodes deep.
2. Recaps are annoying
While you're binge watching episodes of your favorite series, you find it annoying to watch a minute long recap of what happened in the last episode when you literally just finished it. Shouldn't there be a binge watching option on Netflix that allows you to skip that?
3. Netflix knows you better than you know yourself
Thank goodness for the "because you watched..." part of Netflix. Any series or movie you watched will automatically bring up other things you'd like and will be the deciding factor in what else you should invest a your time on.
4. When Netflix & chill, literally means Netflix & chill
Enough said. When it comes to Netflix and your favorite TV series, you're simply signing up to sit there and watch it with me.
5. You never thought documentaries would be a genre you liked
Learning stuff in a classroom might be boring but watching a documentary on Netflix is a decent genre selection of choice. It's a win-win. It's educational while still entertaining. Can I get school credit for this?
6. You judge people on the shows they have or haven't seen
Whether it's telling a friend they're missing out for not seeing a movie or series, or it's meeting someone new and trying to see who they are based off of their favorite shows; this is a huge factor in your friendships.
7. You can't wait to get home to watch something on Netflix
You know you have a problem when you're daydreaming about getting off work or out of school to dive back into the latest episode of your favorite TV series.
8. You know the best season for "Netflixing" is in the winter
Every Netflixer has a favorite time of the year, it's called winter. While a majority of the population is sad and wishing they could spend their time in 70+ degree weather, you're happy that you have an excuse to stay in and binge watch seasons on seasons of your favorite shows.
9. You feel an actual connection between yourself and the characters on your favorite Netflix series
The main character is like your best friend, you feel what he/she feels. You get mad when someone makes them mad, you might even yell at the screen. You try to give them advice even though they can't hear you.
10. When your favorite series is over, you feel sad and relieved at the same time
You're sad because you want more when you can't have it, the ending could have been better, or it was just right but you secretly hope they find another way to create more seasons.
11. Three words...Internet Connection Problem
The worst thing that could even ruin your day is getting an error about poor Internet connection or constant buffering.
12. You promised to never watch an episode without your best friend or significant other
Who were you kidding? You're going to watch maybe one or two more episodes because the last one was too intense to not find out what happens next.
13. You've considered getting rid of cable
You probably haven't watched anything on your TV other than something on Netflix in quite some time. Plus, you would save money.
14. No commercials is bittersweet
Commercials are annoying and not having to sit through them is an amazing gift from Netflix. But, when do you take breaks for snacks or to use the restroom? Pausing it is so hard to do sometimes.
15. Netflixing is a hobby
You take it personal when people say something judgmental about those who can sit and binge watch episodes of their favorite shows all day. If there was a day of the week devoted to spending time watching Netflix all day, you would be perfectly fine with that.
