Let's face it, if you were born in the late 90s (1996-1999) you were probably told you have no right to call yourself a "true" 90s baby. I was born in 1997, and yes, that technically makes me a 90s baby, but I don't really remember living in the 90s. However, I do remember the early 2000's. Here's a little something for the one's that are shamed for calling themselves 90s babies.

1. Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, and The Amanda Show were your holy grail TV shows.

The Lizzie McGuire movie was also probably something you watched religiously. You died a little inside when these shows ended forever, and you probably wish they would make a channel on TV for old Nickelodeon and old Disney Channel shows and movies.

2. Writing "HAGS" on everyone's yearbook at the end of the school year.

I mean come on, we all did it at one point. I know I did.

3. Girls always wore their Girl Scout vests to school the day they had their meeting.

This was SO in. Second grade, when you just became a Brownie, it was CRUCIAL that you wore your vest the day of your meeting. And ALWAYS under a white long sleeve. It was the only way.

4. The coolest kids always brought their Nintendo DS to school.

If you didn't bring yours to school, were you even cool?

5. Learning math with the blue cubes that came in individual cubes, rows and blocks.

I'm sure you all remember these. They were the coolest things to play with. Plus, it taught you math in a pretty decent way.

6. Playing on barbie.com or playing myscene online during computer class.

What girl didn't do this?? The MyScene makeover game was my absolute favorite.

7. Everyone needed to have a razor phone or an EnV, and if you didn't, you weren't cool.

I had the EnV, and I thought I was the coolest girl in school. The Razor was pretty cool, too.

8. Text message signatures.

Does this even need an explanation? The kids with a boyfriend or girlfriend would have their date as their signature. I remember one of mine was something completely embarrassing like "SaMaNtHa LeE*<3." Oh goodness.

9. Watching DVDs on your VideoNow.

I had the one that flipped open and I was always watching the same episode of Zoey 101, because I lost all of the other DVDs.

10. NSYNC and The Jonas Brothers were our favorite childhood boy bands, not One Direction or 5SOS.

Nick Jonas was basically my boyfriend from 2005-2008. He just didn't know it.

11. Jesse McCartney was our Justin Bieber equivalent.

This hunk was everything when we were kids. He was the teen pop sensation. Until JB came into the picture, that is.

12. It was cool to take pictures with your friends like this. Taking pictures at the Apple Store and uploading them to Facebook was also cool.

Everyone did this. Especially when we got to the end of middle school/junior high. Taking pictures in the middle of the Apple Store was the only way to really prove you hung out at the mall. (Also, yes, that edited photo from the Apple Store is really me. Embarrassing, I know).

13. The first group chat we ever had was PictoChat.

What even was an iPhone? We had our Nintendo DS and we had a group chat that we could draw things in. That sounds way cooler.

14. Heely's, flare jeans, and putting gum wrapper foil on your teeth to make it look like a grill were all in style.

The flare jeans might've been just because that's what our parents bought us. Although we definitely begged for the Heely's, and if your Heely's came with two wheels per shoe, you were even cooler.

15. How important Disney mash-up episodes were to us.

That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana? YES, please!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
