1. One of the most beautiful campuses in the nation (number 1 in my eyes)

2. First public university in the country

3. An athletic program so large and talented, we adopted a second mascot (Tarheels AND Ramses)

4. Cool traditions, like drinking from the Old Well to get a 4.0, that date back to who knows when

5. You will work for a UNC degree, but a UNC degree will bring you work

 6. The better half of one of the most well-known rivalries in sports

 7. Storming Franklin St when we beat Duke

 8. Franklin St is perfect for a college town—fun shops, yummy places to eat and tons to do at night

 9. All Carolina sports

10. But also, specifically, Carolina Basketball

 11. And Roy Williams

 12. The entire town getting decked out in Carolina blue on game days

 13.  Carolina students live work hard and play hard—no matter the night of the week, you can find both the bars and the libraries packed

14. If you’re bored between classes, just take a walk past The Pit.  There will always be a club handing out info, an a capella or dance group performing, or the Pit Preacher scolding a massive crowd of 15.Carolina Fever—this place gets in your blood and stays for generations.

There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
