As the school year comes to a close, every college student is exhausted from each event and final that the year had to offer. Although attending college is the greatest experience in the world, there comes a point you're thoroughly exhausted. Even if it's just for a short three months, going home for summer has its many perks when you're a college student!
1. Having access to your own washer and dryer.
Laundry is a much simpler task at home. Instead of collecting quarters and making trips to the laundry room, you finally get to use your own washing machine. If you're lucky, your parents might even do it for you!
2. Getting to drive your car.
Even if you're used to walking everywhere by now, having your own car is the absolute best. You no longer have to rely on rides or ask people to borrow their cars.
3. Not having to buy your own groceries.
Grocery shopping is one of the biggest hassles in college. Your fridge is most likely empty the majority of the time because you're either too lazy to get groceries or just don't feel like spending the money. When you're at home, it becomes your parents' job to stock the kitchen.

6. You get your health back.
It is very difficult to maintain good health in college. You get sick multiple times and it is hard to fit exercising into your schedule. Once you're at home, it is much easier to get back into a healthy routine again.
