15 Quotes To End 2015 Strong

2015 is coming to a close. It's time to end it off strong and start 2016 with a burning ambition. Let's remember this year and all we have learned from it. Let's take from it and not create a "new me," but a "better me." Here are 15 quotes to help accomplish this goal.

Don't give up if things go wrong on the first try. Keep trying. If you work hard, it might end up even better than you originally imagined.

Not everyone believes the same thing that you do. This is a fact that needs to be accepted. However, just because you do not agree does not give you the right to be disrespectful. Even when you dislike a person, it is still possible to be respectful.

Life can be scary sometimes, but have faith. If you let your fear defeat you, nothing will ever be accomplished.

Having faith is not always easy and the answers are not always clear. However, they don't need to be clear. Faith is believing that everything will be okay, even if you do not know how that will happen.

Unfortunately.

True strength isn't easy. It takes work. Sometimes obstacles come up in life that seem impossible to overcome; but by working hard and persevering, you will see how strong you really are.

If you are being the best person you can be, you don't need to worry about what others think.

I know not everyone is like this, but these days it seems like people are offended by the most ridiculous things. Not everything needs to be taken so seriously. Do yourself a favor and just let it go.

Intelligence is such a gift! Use it to your full potential and you will go far.

This year may have been one of the hardest years for some people. I know it certainly was for my family. It's hard to see past all the pain right now, but I know that in time we will get through our hardships. Things will get better.

Don't ever just say you are going to do something. Actually do it. One of the best ways to lose trust is by not sticking to your word.

Every day is a new day and each has it's own opportunities. When you see those opportunities, take them.

Never forget where you have come from and what you have gone through. Your life is full of lessons. If you do not learn from your experiences, then your future will likely hold many of the same mistakes.

Do not concern yourself with the gifts of others. Focus on your own abilities and potential. If you learn what you are good at and put the work into it, then you will surely bloom.

It's your life to live. Like most of the quotes here, it is important to work hard in everything that you do. You will accomplish nothing if you do not get up and move. Choose your direction and start walking.

Make this coming year the best year yet. Put in that effort and be the best you that you can be! You've got this!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
