Life Hacks to Get You Out of Sticky Situations

Here are some life hacks everyone can benefit by knowing. I know I have.

Don’t walk down the steps with your hands in your pockets.

Giphy

I never thought anything of it until I tried walking down steps with my hands in my pockets.

When crying out for help, cry help in a specific way.

Giphy

Instead of just yelling “help” yell “hey, you in the green shirt, HELP”

If you’re caught in a riptide, swim parallel to the shore, not fighting the riptide

Giphy

A great hack for someone like me who can’t swim.

Keep your phone face down to save battery

Giphy

Tried this and to my surprise, THIS WORKED.

Tampons can be used as water filtration.

Giphy

Great way to save your life down the road.

If you’re in a trunk, kick out the tail lights to get the attention of other cars

Giphy

With kidnapping at an all time high, this will SAVE YOU.

If you have food, but no water, resist the urge to eat. It’ll make you even thirstier.

Giphy

Hold out, it’ll be worth it.

If you’re ever in a fire, stay low to the ground. You'll have plenty of air down there.

Giphy

Heat and smoke rise. Always remember that.

If a gun is pointed at you, look them in the eyes.

Giphy

They are less likely to fire at you.

Look both ways when crossing the road, even if a walk sign is saying you can go.

Giphy

You can never be too careful with drivers. So many people run the red.

Always keep money in the sole of your shoes.

Giphy

You'll never know when a little extra cash can help.

If you’re trapped on thin ice, lay down on your  stomach and wiggle/crawl to the shore from the direction you came.

Giphy

Ice is a scary thing, stay smart.

If you’re stabbed or impaled, don’t pull it out.

Giphy

It keeps your blood from gushing out everywhere.

If you get lost in the desert, breathe through your nose - it’ll make you less dehydrated

Don't panic, just breathe. In through the nose, out through the mouth.

Be observant of your exits.

Giphy

In case of emergency, know all exists to safely get out.

This coffee brand is USDA organic. Newman's Own Keurig coffee flavors are all organic. They have French Roast, Decaf, and a Special Blend. I'm in a committed relationship with the French Roast flavor. The smell alone from dispensing 1 cup of coffee sets a whole cafe jazz vibe.

I'm already relaxed when I smell the coffee all ready for dressing. The way I make my coffee is simple and sweet, literally. I add a spoon of organic brown sugar and a splash of organic almond vanilla milk. This cup of coffee has changed my life forever. I have never been so productive in my life and I truly believe it's because the coffee is organic.

We are all sending prayers to Naya Rivera hoping she finds them so we can find her.

I woke up this morning looking to find Naya Rivera's name trending No. 1 on Twitter. I was reading all of everyone's prayers wishing to find her so she can be reunited with her baby boy who is only 4 years old.

Naya's son's name is Lord and the entire collective is hoping the Lord is with him right now. I'm a firm believer in the Fear of God, I hope all of Naya's love is protecting Lord right now.

Don't Make This Pandemic Political, Just Wear Your Damn Mask

A virus doesn't discriminate when infecting you.

With the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic still surging in the United States, where we are averaging 50,000 cases daily, wearing a face mask has become even more important. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, has stressed the importance of wearing a mask and is pleading Americans to take notice of the "disturbing" rise in cases. It would be common sense to listen to him, considering we are dealing with a virus that has a mortality rate higher than what we have seen with other viruses.
