As we enter into Black History Month, President Donald J. Trump was caught on tape making a statement that made it seem like he believed abolitionist Frederick Douglass was still alive.

After his comment, Trump received many criticisms and jests from publications that theorized that he may not even be aware of who Frederick Douglass even was.

Over time, Trump has been condemned for not having a strong understanding of American politics in general, so this lapse in understanding of American history and about a significant African American figure has led to even more aims taken against the new President.

With this latest comment, I have taken it upon myself to compile a list of historical figures that Trump most likely still believes to be alive. I have listed them below with comments that Trump would probably make concerning each of them if he were asked his opinion about them.

1. Alexander the Great

Trump: “Fantastic guy. I model my leadership after what he’s been doing. That was how I became the President of the United States!”

2. Napoleon Bonaparte

Trump: “I received a personal phone call from Napoleon, where he congratulated me on my perfect campaign!”

3. Julius Caesar

Trump: “I’m sure he loves The Apprentice. Or at least he did before that Schwarzenegger ruined it!”

4. Jesus Christ

Trump: “That’s only what my closest friends call me.”

5. W.E.B. Du Bois

Trump: “I don’t know about W.E.B. but I do know that I thrive on the WEB because my twitter has 23.8 MILLION followers!”

6. Mahatma Gandhi

Trump: “Good man, good man. His ideas of peace are nice, but war is often necessary. ”

7. Henry VIII

Trump: “Now he knows exactly what marriage is all about!”

8. Langston Hughes

Trump: “Love his work. I have some of his art hanging in my home. Right next to my safe full of money!”

9. Kim Jong-il

Trump: “I respect him very much, I’m hoping to build a relationship with him just like the one I’ve developed with Putin. My presidency is going to be revolutionary!”

10. Frida Kahlo

Trump: “She is in support of my wall, she’s told me herself.”

11. Osama bin Laden

Trump: “Exactly the kind of man we are fighting against with my brilliant Muslim ban. We must bring him down! But these judges are slowing my progress!”

12. Malcolm X

Trump: “One of those Black Lives Matter radicalists!! Promoting violence! All Lives Matter!”

13. Mother Teresa

Trump: “She is a great mother to everyone. Just like I am the great father that the United States and the world needed!

14. Rosa Parks

Trump: “She’s making more progress than that LIAR Hillary ever did!”

15. Harriet Tubman

Trump: “I loved her in The Help.”

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
