Graduation is right around the corner and you're probably freaking out. This is your biggest accomplishment to date and everything needs to be absolutely perfect. There's a fine line between looking like Taylor Swift running the world and looking like Taylor Swift breaking down in Blank Space.

YIKES. No one should be that person. Plan for the big day by making sure you have these 15 items ready.

1. Have your name card ready!

This is your invitation to graduation. In addition to bringing it with you, make sure you put how you want your name to be pronounced so the reader doesn't have an oops moment.

2. You have to have a perfectly crafted cap.

The best part about picking up your cap is decorating it! This is your chance for everyone to see your style, whether it's a clever quote, or a montage of your hobby career interest. After doing your extensive design research on Pinterest, head to your local Michael's or Jo-Ann's ASAP!

3. You can't forget your gown.

Le'Duh! Pick it up early or you're going to have a lot of issues. Return it right after the ceremony too!

4. Pick a stunning outfit.

This is the most important time of your life to date, and you deserve to look like a KWEEN. Picking a dress and shows fit for the red carpet doesn't have to equal the price of your student debt! You can slay with a cheap outfit if you shop outlets or boutique, like Sophie and Trey.

5. It helps to have tassels.

This isn't a necessity, but it sure does make you look more important if you have tassels on your shoulders. Didn't join an honor society? No worries, you can donate to your Alumni Association and get a class gift, which is typically a set of tassels.

6. Bring your lipstick.

It's going to be a long ceremony, and you have to be camera-ready at all times. Make sure you can touch up right before your big moment.

7. Stow a compact mirror.

There's no need to stress about looking into your phone's front-view camera to check yourself. Bring a compact mirror.

8. MAKE SURE you wear fake lashes.

Why risk crying your mascara all over your face like . You can get Ardell lashes at a drug store or grocery store for less than $5, or for better quality go to Sephora or Ulta. Or if you want to look absolutely perfect get lash extensions done. I highly advise if you're not getting extensions done that you practice a bunch to make sure you get the proper style, eye shape and length for you so you don't look like a fool.

If you absolutely must use mascara and/or eyeliner, be cautious of the under-eye damage from your relentless emotions.

9. Bring a travel-size pack of tissues.

If you don't bring tissues, you're 100% going to have issues.

10. Fit everything in a small purse that fits under your gown.

You're going to need something to hold your goods. If it doesn't fit under your gown, consider it gone.

11. Snap some photos on a smartphone/small camera.

You have to capture every moment of this exciting experience. Make sure you're all charged up and keep your internet off to save battery.

12. It won't hurt to have a portable charger.

Just in case you slip up you can recover.

13. Sit by a friend who will take a pic of you walking on stage.

You didn't think you would be able to take selfies the whole time, did you? Mom can't go backstage, either.

14. Up your sass.

It's like you're walking down the catwalk. Strut your stuff, everyone's watching.

15. Flash a million dollar smile.

This is the happiest day of your life, so you better show it! The most important thing about your graduation is to have fun and enjoy every moment of it.

As Winnie The Pooh put it so well, "life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved." So prep wisely for this milestone in your life to be hassle-free, and enjoy the ride.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
