I think I can speak for everyone when saying that Ed Sheeran’s new album "Divide" saved my life. Okay, maybe that’s a little dramatic, but this man is seriously life changing. Let’s take it back to a great day; Jan. 1st when Ed decided to come back from the dead, or his year hiatus, whatever you want to call it. I’m calling it "coming back from the dead" because it is safe to say that him resurrecting made my year right there. And not only did he come out of hiding, he announced new music!! After playing “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill” on repeat at least 15 times when they first came out and absolutely obsessing over them, I knew that this new album was going to be something incredible and so did everyone else!

Now let’s fast forward to when midnight March 3rd finally rolled around and the whole album became available, or as I’m now calling it, the moment I realized my life had changed for the better. After continuously playing this album for the past 72 hours or so (when I say continuously I mean it; like seriously, it's playing as I write this), I think I am able to give some insight on some of my favorite songs, and all the emotions and thoughts that have come to me when listening to this masterpiece.

1. 12:00, March 3rd, 2017: Divide comes out, I find it on Spotify, and by 12:15 I’m singing along in the shower.

2. Okay, Spotify is seriously teasing me and played not just "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" first, but then "How Would You Feel" one right after the other.

PLEASE Spotify, you already know how much I love these already released hits if how many times I’ve listened to them in the past week is any indication. But please, PLEASE, I need to hear the new stuff, and I need it now (not to be dramatic or anything). Okay the music’s fading, the next song is coming on… Oh crap, it’s just an ad.

3. But then when the first new song comes on...

This is the moment my life has changed for the better.

4. When "New Man" throws major MAJOR shade.

And you become a detective attempting to figure out who this song is about/who is her new man?!

5. Well, now I’m ugly crying to "Happier"

Is it because of how sad the song is, or because Ed is a musical genius? Or maybe because no guy will ever compare to Ed Sheeran? The world will never know.

6. Dancing around to “Barcelona” and “Bibia Be Ye Ye”.

Two songs that I feel are seriously underrated on this album.

7. Okay, this album is literally giving me all the feels.

Like every different emotion that can be felt will be felt for at least one song on this album.

8. Placing bets now to see how many upcoming weddings are going to use "Perfect" as the first dance song.

If you will, "the new Thinking Out loud," as one of my friends labeled it.

9. Now I'm even uglier crying to Supermarket Flowers...

I'm crying, you're crying, you called your mom and now you're both crying.

10. Making an attempt to Irish Step dance to "Nancy Mulligan" and "Galway Girl"

11. I'm actually exhausted listening to this album.

From all the dancing and ugly crying this legit doubles as a workout.

12. Trying to figure out which song is my new favorite?

"Save Myself" is literally my new anthem, but then again "Hearts Don't Break Around Here" gives me the classic Ed vibes. Ughhhhh.

13. Asking myself if I should stay up to listen to it just one more time.

Obviously, the answer to that question is why is that even a question?

14. Okay, I officially know all the words to each and every song.

Should we consider that a new high or a new low? Definitely a high.

15. Patiently waiting for the US tour dates to be announced.

So, with that, a big thank you to Ed Sheeran for making my week, saving my year, and changing my life with "Divide."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
