As auditions come to a close for Season 11 of "America’s Got Talent," we’ve seen many amazing talents. The judges have raved that this is one of the best seasons yet. Though this is the first season I actively watched, I agree with the judges. Each week the acts have been getting better and better. With judge cuts starting next week, there are a few acts you should keep a close eye on in these upcoming weeks.

1. Sal Valentinetti.

Easily one of the best acts of this season. He auditioned with the song “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and wowed the judges. Heidi Klum granted him the golden buzzer that sent him right to the live shows. He is an incredible talent that makes him one of the strongest competitors. His family is also super lovable and I can’t wait to see them more on my TV screen. Bonus points because he’s from Long Island, how you doin’?

2. Ryan Beard.

Another one of my favorite singing acts from this season. His humorous personality showed pretty much right away after revealing he was home schooled. He cracked jokes with the judges before performing his original song “Ladies Man.” At first I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with his comedic musical talents. Simon commented saying that he’s “going to remember” Beard.

3. Alla and Daniel Novikov.

Hands down the cutest audition ever. Daniel and his mom danced to Maroon 5’s hit “Moves Like Jagger” and got the audience up on their feet within seconds. Mel B. complimented them both on their dancing abilities. She stated that she “couldn’t take her eyes off” the son Daniel. The act is unique and sweet and I can’t wait to see what the duo has in store for the rest of the season.

4. Dorothy Williams.

If you didn’t fall in love with her, you’re heartless. She proves that now matter how old you are you can still go after your dream. Another act that surprised me and left me speechless. Any 90-year-old who is willing to get up there and put tassels on and shake what the good Lord gave her is automatically one of my favorites. Nick Cannon actually ran down and pressed the golden buzzer, earning her a spot in the live shows.

5. Kadan Rockett.

Another family act everyone is sure to love. This brother-sister duo is an adorable and fantastic magic act. The young magician was able to saw his sister in half and the show included home videos where Kadan made his sister disappear. I’m positive they’ll be in the competitions for quite some time.

6. Patrick and Ginger.

This story is so touching, and you can clearly see how much Patrick loves his dog. Ginger takes dog tricks to a whole new level. Animals are hard to work with in a talent show and to have everyone vote yes is incredible. I can’t wait to see the new tricks Ginger and Patrick are going to bring to the judge cuts.

7. Throwings.

I think it’s fair to say that this is one of the craziest acts we’ve all seen. The husband throws his wife in the air like she’s a doll. The act left me wanting more. I’ve never seen anything like it. This year has some of the best high-flying stunts, including the throwings.

8. Duo Guerrero.

Another crazy high-flying stunt. This one made me incredibly nervous and left me on the edge of my seat. I closed my eyes because I was so nervous about what was going to happen next. The couple is incredible and I can’t even begin to imagine what their next act is going to look like.

9. Edgar.

This modern-day family band is filled with incredible talent. The mom was originally a Christian singer but was kicked out when she became pregnant with her daughter Jazz. The group is hoping to get back onto the path of stardom.

10. Calysta Bevier.

As I’m sure you can tell, I’m very impressed with the singers this year. They stole the show this year and have brought it. Calysta, a cancer survivor, sung Rachel Platten's “Fight Song,” which was extremely heartfelt. Her voice blew away the judges, which ended up earning her Simon’s golden buzzer. Anyone who gets the golden buzzer from Simon must be going straight to the top.

11. Grace VanderWaal.

No words can describe this little girl's talent. She wrote her own song and Simon dubbed her the new Taylor Swift. Everything about this girl is adorable and sweet, and her voice will win you over. Her talents really impressed Howie. Thanks to Howie and the golden buzzer, we will be seeing VanderWaal in the live shows.

12. Adam Grabowski.

He was only on for a quick second and we didn’t get to hear his whole act but anyone who opens up with saying they love Disney has my attention. His one joke was about "The Little Mermaid," but had Mel B. belly-laughing.

13. Elevenplay.

This dance act kept my eyes glued the whole time. It incorporated so many different amazing things and was so beautifully executed it left me eager to see what else they have in store.

14. Sila Sveta.

This group incorporated dance with amazing multimedia while telling a story. The duo really made an impact with all their tricks and techniques.

15. Julia Scotti.

This comedian is one of the best I think this season has to offer. Howie described her as a joy, while Heidi described her as a little bit naughty. Either way, she left us cracking up.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
