With summer break on its way to started for others, one finds themselves in need of something fun and relaxing. From comedy to action there are so many different kinds of television shows, so with that in mind here are fourteen amazing television series that everyone can enjoy this summer.

1. Avatar the Last Airbender

Probably one of the best animated series ever, if you haven't had the chance to see it yet you need to make some time for it. With great humor, life lessons, action and romance it is a full package of genres for anyone watching.

2. Hemlock Grove

This one is a Netflix original that is really dark and twisted and will leave you on the edge of your seat, but is super fun and interesting to watch. It involves werewolves but is an entirely new take on them that will leave you more interested than bored that is for sure.

3. Madmen

Set in the 1960's, which already means you are in for a good time as the show does an amazing job portraying how people in the 1960's would act and think. Interesting story-line that is fairly easy to follow, this show is super fun to just watch as you please no need to binge watch it.

4. Gotham

Gotham is a really interesting and new take on the Batman story, this time focusing on a young Officer Gordon and a very young Bruce Wayne before he was Batman. Filled with action, mystery and some awesome crime-solving this series is one to be binge watched.

5. Pretty Little Liars

Okay I know it is super cheesy to even suggest it and if you get past how long it takes for them to finally if at all catch the mysteries A, it is a really good series with just enough suspense and a bit of fear that you need your phone on silent while you watch.

6. Harper's Island

Okay, so super old and only went for one season but if you love suspense best show ever honestly my all time favorite. Warning it is kinda filled with gore but it's 2009 gore which makes it kinda charming more than anything else.

7. The Secret Circle

The Secret Circle is yet another series that only aired for one season, which is terribly sad in my mind as they could have kept it going off the books for so much longer. But super funny and interesting with great actors involved and teenage witches, what's not to love?

8. Tudors

The Tudors is a historical drama that focuses on King Henry the VIII, filled with intrigue and betrayal it is a great take on his life. Maybe not super appropriate for younger audiences so keep your little siblings away while you watch it.

9. Bob’s Burgers

Probably the best animated show to exist with adult humor, it isn't super coarse and rude like Family Guy which makes it pretty okay to watch with younger siblings. But super funny and the kids are probably the best characters in the whole thing.

10. Daria

Daria is an old 90's MTV animated series that can be considered to be pure gold. With a hilarious bunch of characters and just full of sarcasm, it is the best show for anyone in love with the 90's.

11. That 70's Show

That 70's Show, is probably the best show to depict a family and friend group. It is also super funny and the costuming in it will make you cringe when you realize that some of your parents wore clothes similar to that back then.

12. Archer

Another adult animated series that is super funny but more offensive than Bob's Burgers. You will even recognize some of the voices in it which is a fun coincidence. Super funny, but might want to not let your little siblings see this one.

13. The Wonder Years

The Wonder Years is an early 90's show that focuses on a young teen boy in the 60's-70's as he struggles with growing up. This show has a great sense of humor and is full of life lessons, and is worth the watch.

14. Girls

Girls is an HBO series that is really relatable and funny as it focuses on a group of girls trying to survive life in general. And to make it better, Lena Dunham is the creator of it and she starts in the show itself.

So there you have it, fourteen awesome series that you need to take the time to watch over your break. Some are binge worthy and some are just fun when you are looking to relax and watch something new, This list is full of different genres and situations of shows that there is something for everyone to watch and enjoy over their breaks.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
