  1. When we say we’re from Columbus, we mean the suburbs 15-20 minutes from downtown.
  2. Sports have always been a big part of our lives whether we realize it or not. From the Columbus Blue Jackets, to The Crew, to anything Ohio State – we always have a team to root for!
  3. We never run out of cute coffee shops to fulfill our caffeine fix.
  4. Speaking of coffee – it better be served hot because our winters suck
  5. …But no matter how many times we tweet at Chris Bradley to raise the “%%%”, we still can never get school canceled.
  6. Exploring the Short North and its endless foodie destinations never really gets old.
  7. We’ve all been to The Book Loft in German Village at least once.
  8. Anytime we’re going on a road trip we can almost guarantee we’ll see the legendary “Hell is Real” sign.
  9. Cedar Point and Zoombeezi Bay are at the top of everyone’s summer to-do list.
  10. We always ended the summer with too much funnel cake and a ferris wheel ride at The Fair.
  11. But the real highlight of the summer for all ages is Red White and Boom. Fireworks and the city skyline – it doesn’t get much better.
  12. If you didn’t shop at Easton you just weren’t shopping right.
  13. Ice cream was always the move – from Graeters to Coldstone to Rita’s there was always a solid option nearby.
  14. Columbus is one of the coolest cities of all time & it will always be home to each and every one of us.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
