We all have the one friend that’s texts you constantly making sure your safe and they cheer for you even if you think it's unnecessary.

We also have the friend that gives really good advice when needed and eats your food when they think you're done with it. These two types of friends could be known as the 'mom friend' or the 'dad friend.'

But what about the friend that never around because they're always sleeping? Well, they're awake now and they want you to know that they are here.

1. You're always grumpy

Waking up on the 'wrong side of the bed' is a hobby we have.

2. You always need someone to repeat themselves

“I can’t hear you” “Can you say that again”

3. You reminisce about the 'Good ole days'

We talk about memories like they happened 40 years ago when in reality it probably happened 20 minutes ago.

4. You're really bad at showing affection toward anything

We don’t know how to sympathize with you but we do feel really bad.

5. You're too old to do anything

“You want me to do what? No, I’m too old for that.”

6. You don't like young people

The generation we’re in and the generation after us is our pet peeve.

7. Your body is always in pain

You will always catch us saying that a part of our body hurts everting five minutes.

8. You complain... a lot

It’s an extreme sport that we always win.

9. You tell bad jokes but think they're really funny

OG of dad jokes!

10. You forget a lot of things

Even if you set a reminder, you forget.

11. You go to bed earlier than all your friends

9 p.m. is that latest you will see us awake.

12. You sit around watching tv all day

“I’m sorry I’m too busy watching tv all day, rain check?”

13. You don't update social media

You have social media but you rarely update any of your accounts.

14. You have no idea what people are talking about more than half the time

We’re always so late to the trend that when people ask if we’ve seen a video the answer is always no.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
