1. You never get tired of one another.
You can literally spend every waking moment together and be fine. Part of the time you are just hanging out like best friends do and laughing about NOTHING for hours. Then sometimes you have romantic dates that end with the two of you cuddled up on the couch. And the coolest thing? You can do either whenever you want to!
2. You are always honest with one another.
You can ask for criticism and they will always tell you the truth. You can even tell them when they are being a real (insert insult here) without them being offended. That's the beauty of having a “two-part” relationship with them.
3. Boredom doesn't exist.
Whatever you are doing, even if it's nothing at all, you enjoy just being in each other’s presence. You'll experience the most epic adventures, the most random inside jokes, and more laughter than you ever thought even possible.
4. Friends don't feel like the third wheel.
You can hang out with a mutual friend without making them feel awkward. Neither of you feel the need to hold hands or do the whole PDA thing.
5. You can talk about anything.
Your conversations range from talking about your future together, to your high and low points, to how bad your period sucks this month.
6. You don't have to try too hard to impress one another.
You have seen each other in all forms. You've seen the sweatpants/t-shirt look and the red carpet event look. Heck, you have even seen the puffy-eyed drunken nights! No matter what you still love them the same.
7. You are 100 percent comfortable with each other.
Yay! No awkward conversations for you! You can also burp and get a one out of ten score and make the stupidest/ugliest faces at one another. Laughter is something that is constant.
8. You are super competitive.
Competition is no joke. You will stop at nothing to win. Even if that means almost killing each other in the process. A simple board game can turn deadly in seconds.
9. A date can be anywhere.
You don't feel the need to go out and have a candlelit dinner at a fancy restaurant. Getting a Redbox and a HUGE bucket of popcorn is enough to meet your needs. As long as you are together, it does not matter what you do.
10. You know all of each other's imperfections and insecurities.
Knowing when your significant other is upset is like second nature. You know by the look on their face. Thankfully you always know just what to do to make them feel better.
11. You share obsessions.
You have periods when you go to the same restaurant for cheese dip and margaritas four times a week because it's seriously that good. Watching "Frozen" over and over a thousand times is completely normal.
12. Talking 24/7 isn't necessary.
Trust is strong enough in your relationship that you can go and do your own thing sometimes. The two of you know that you're always on each other's mind anyways. Spending some time apart is no big deal.
13. You make traditions.
Maybe the two of you make frequent fishing trips and you always include cheese puffs, Gatorade, and Hooter's wings. Or you do things like always sneak mini wine bottles into the movie theater.
14. You make plans for the future.
The two of you have this huge list of things that you plan to do together. It can range anywhere from camping trips to getting married and having babies together.
Being in love with your best friend is rare and incredible. It's a connection that includes love, laughter, trusting, and pure happiness. If you find someone that can be both the love of your life and your best friend in the world, then you are one of the lucky ones.
