As we all very well know, Grey’s Anatomy has some of the worst television show departures by far. From major character deaths to characters just plain disappearing and never being heard from again, Grey’s Anatomy is certainly known for its dramatic character exits. Here are some of the worst:

Now, if you're like me, you just cried your way throughout this entire list at the mere memory of some of these characters and what they used to bring to this show. While many were fan favorites they all had to make their exits for one reason or another, thus prompting the immense amounts of waterworks for months--and years--to follow. The one question remaining now is who will Shonda take next? Alex Karev maybe.
