14 Movies To Get You In The Holiday Spirit

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to sit down with my friends and family, a comfy blanket, and a big bowl of popcorn with the Christmas tree lighting up the room while watching a Christmas movie.

There are so many movies to choose from and it can be hard to choose the perfect one for that night, so I've made up a list of my favorite movies to make it a little bit easier to pick which movie to watch.

1. Elf

This is my absolute favorite movie watch over and over again during the holidays!

2. Frosty The Snowman

This one is great to watch if you're watching with any younger kids in your family!

3. Home Alone

4. Home Alone 2

and....

5. Home Alone 3

aaaand...

6. Home Alone 4

and you can't forget...

7. The Polar Express

Make sure you brew up a cup of hot chocolate before you start this one!

8. The Nightmare Before Christmas

An absolute classic to sing along with!

9. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Another great one to watch with the kids....or yourself at 3am.

10. The Year Without A Santa Claus

There wasn't a single year growing up where I didn't watch this one!

11. A Christmas Story

A classic to watch with your whole family!

12. The Santa Claus

Tim Allen will make your belly grow with laughter in these movies!

13. Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas

Jim Carrey takes on the role of The Grinch and it might be my favorite one of his

14. Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas

but you can't forget the original version either!

Now go snuggle into your couch with a big bowl of popcorn and get into the holiday spirit!

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.
