Joining a sorority offers a variety of leadership opportunities as well as lifelong connections with Greeks everywhere. These organizations play huge roles in creating well-rounded and exemplary women every day. I have witnessed this firsthand and can honestly say I am so thankful I decided to go Greek three years ago. Despite all this, these organizations are still constantly stereotyped. Joining a sorority has opened the door for some of the best friendships, adventures and times of my life that I would have never experienced otherwise. Something I've learned along the way is "haters gonna hate" regardless, and it's better to just brush it off. So here is a list of relatable Greek experiences we can all thank Greek Life for because who cares if they are cliches? We honestly love them anyway.

1. Thank you for the best entourage of beautiful sisters.

2. A reason to wave excitedly when passing someone on the highway with the same letters.

3. A costume party every other weekend.

4. Allowing us to channel our inner hip hop dancer during Greek Week.

5. Making us feel like celebrities with all the endless sorority photo shoots.

6. Four more proms because two just wasn't enough.

7. The best cardio a girl will ever encounter: recruitment.

8. Increased followers and Instagram likes.

9. A reason to start breaking it down every time Luke Bryan's "Sorority Girl" starts playing.

10. The most perfect little.

11. A reason to look like a million bucks every chapter Sunday.

12. An endless supply of T-shirts.

13. An excuse to ask my crush out.

14. The best bridesmaids a girl could ever meet.
