With the long-awaited premiere of "Fuller House," I thought that I would reminisce on my favorite childhood TV show, the OG family sitcom: "Full House." It was on Nickelodeon every morning from 7 to 8 a.m. throughout my middle school years, and it was surely the best part of my day (except when I would go see my crush Bryan Ray at Lunch). Anyway, I would eat my cereal every morning and watch Joey, Jesse and Danny give some cheesy fatherly advice every single morning. Now that I am all grown up, just like DJ, Stephanie and Michelle, I thought that I would give a great big shout out to my self-designated TV family, the Tanners. I thought they were just giving me lifelong advice, but what I didn't realize was how relevant their lessons would be in college. These are 14 ways that "Full House" describes college all too well.
1. When your professor picks you when you didn't raise your hand...
But you get the question right, anyway.
2. When the guy at the party wants to leave...
And he doesn't waste any time.
3. When the semester starts and you go to the gym...
And you realize you're a little more out of shape that you thought.
4. When you consider dropping out of school...
Or starting a promising rap career.
5. When you check your bank account...
And you see nothing.
6. When you see last night's hook-up in public...
And you want to make what was last night's this night's.
7. When your roommate eats your frozen pizza...
That you were saving for when you come home from the bars.
8. When a tinder match messages you and just says "nudes?"
We're basically in love.
9. When the guy you've been eyeing at the party finally approaches you...
And asks to get you a drink.
10. When you drunkenly want to text your ex...
But your friends (rightfully so) encourage you not to.
11. When your roommate just got dumped...
And you vow to take care of her when she blacks out.
12. When someone sits in the seat that you have been routinely sitting in ALL semester
Were you raised in a barn or something?
13. When the guy at the party doesn't get the hint...
And you're trying to politely tell him you're not interested.
14. When you get home from a night out...
And you just want to eat everything in sight.
