Spring break is just around the corner. Ladies and gentleman alike want to look their best as they bask in the sun on a cruise or walk along tropical shores. Spring break is a time for warm sands, cool breezes and most importantly, hot bodies. Now is the perfect time to reshape and tone a body that will be sure to turn heads come vacation time. These tips will help you do just that.

1. Stay hydrated

Drinking a ton of water will keep all of the body's systems functioning properly and efficiently. Staying hydrated will also make losing any unwanted pounds much easier.

2. Eat a lot of green

Any vegetable that is leafy and green should be consumed in mass quantities. These vegetables hold valuable water and help fill you up curving cravings.

3. Eat high protein/low calorie

Eating a high protein diet helps build muscle and shed unwanted fat. Every meal should have at least one source of high protein with no less than three meals a day. Cutting out high-calorie foods heavy with carbs and fat will be tough at first, but cravings for them will diminish as time goes on.

4. Do full body workouts

Full body workouts will increase calorie burn for far longer than simple cardio work would. This means doing squats, push-ups, pull-ups and planks. If you have access to a barbell, movements like the back squat, deadlift, bench press and overhead press will incinerate body fat.

5. Supply the proper building blocks

For post-workouts, you should down a combination of protein and carbs in the form of a whey protein shake or high protein meal accompanied with carbs to replenish glycogen stores.

6. Use caffeine to cut fat

Caffeine is both a powerful appetite suppressant and metabolism booster. Shoot for drinking, at least, two caffeinated beverages a day such as black coffee or green tea.

7. Use cold exposure to boost your metabolism

Consume ice water or take ice cold showers to rev up your metabolism first thing in the morning.

8. For a toned backside, do your squats

Ladies and gentleman alike can appreciate a toned butt. Work yours by doing daily squats, lunges and step-ups.

9. Guys, broaden those shoulders and tone your core

There is nothing ladies love more than a ripped six pack and broad shoulders. Achieve these by supplementing full body workouts with lateral raises and working towards a two-minute plank.

10. Get a tan

A tan will help show off muscle and make you look better all around. Plus it will keep you from getting severely burnt on any seaside vacation.

11. Wear red

Wearing red will make you appear tanner. Although any bright color will do.

12. Lose excess water weight

The afternoon before you want to look your best, cut down water consumption to help lose excess water weight and pull your skin tight.

13. Grab a drink and relax; you've earned it

If you are of age, grabbing an alcoholic beverage will also help draw out excess water weight.
