College. You can never truly know wha to expect from it. But we go in with our heads held high, most of us hoping it's something like the movies. But man, is it a different story when you get there.

Michael Scott and his crew know all too well about the real world, and here's 13 times "The Office" reminded us of exactly how we feel about life at college.1. When you turn around and suddenly summer is over.

Whether you worked your summer away, spent your summer traveling, or just got caught up in the flow of things, it seems we all lose track of time. And before you know it you're slowly packing your things to move back to college-- or if you're like me you're still packing the morning you leave.

2. When your parents ask about your eating habits.

Yeah, mom. I'm eating a perfectly balanced diet: ice cream, coffee and pizza.

3. When your parents come to visit and your friends talk about all of the bad things you've done.

We all have that one friend who does this. They bring up every shameful secret that you've been (so far) successfully hiding from your parents. Your crazy nights spent downtown, going to class without a bra, your tinder dates, etc.

4. Learning to make decisions on your own.

Some days you feel like you still don't know how to be an adult, but it's a work in progress.

5. Writing a paper last minute.

A complete brain fart. I always think I write best last minute, but then I find myself downing three cups of coffee at 4 a.m. the day a paper is due and praying to pull through with a B.

6. Walking into class late.

Awkwardly creeping into class with the hopes that no one will notice how late you are. But low and behold, every person in the room turns and gives you "the look."

7. When someone asks if you finished the homework.

College means doing so much homework for one class that you forget about the homework you have for all of your other classes.

8. Never knowing what's going on.

Guilty! I always have tons of questions throughout class, but questions mean you're learning, right?

9. When your friends try to convince you to do new things.

College brings out the daredevil in you. Or maybe it's your friends that do that. Either way, you're sure to have a few embarrassing, yet hilarious, memories to share.

10. Being asked if you want to go get food.

I'm always down to get food, always. And luckily my friends are too. Even if it is 3 a.m. on a Tuesday.

11. When you remember the answer to the last question after you turn your test in.

UGH! Come on brain! You have failed me once again.

12. Trying to survive finals.

Finals, aka hell week, gets the best of everyone. It's the week that we all unite in our misery to push through one more test and hope to pass.

13. Christmas Break

Finally! Finals are over and there's no looking back. You are free to go home and hibernate for a month. Also, free food. Need I say more?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
