The early 2000s brought about many promising fashion trends that a decade later are making a comeback. Scrunchies, crop-tops and small-framed sunglasses are among the few that agreeably we look forward to welcoming back with open arms.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's love for low-rise jeans, however, will not be welcomed in 2018.

In fact, I'm so opposed to the trend's return that I made a list of 13 things I'd rather do than ever be forced to style an outfit with low-rise jeans again in my life.

1. Wear adult braces for the rest of my life.

2. Listen to Shake It Off by Taylor Swift non-stop for 72-hours.

After three times in a row, I already need an Advil.

3. Be forced to live life like a vampire, drinking blood and burning in the sun, without the immortality component.

4. Go through life never being able to see the last ten minutes of any movie I watch.

5. Be a muggle in a world in which Harry Potter exists.

6. Have to introduce myself to everyone as my first ever email address.

7. Be forced to make lists that I can never cross off finished tasks from.

My skin crawls just thinking about this.

8. Never feel clean after a shower.

9. Be rejected by every cute dog I try to pet.

10. Make pig noises in place of every time I laugh.

11. Be forced to take the LSAT once a year for the rest of my life but never know what score I got.

12. Wake up speaking a different language each day, never being able to predict which one.

13. Constantly have to speak everything I'm thinking.

Just no.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
