1. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Being a Marvel fan, this show is exciting and action packed. If you are looking for a show filled with heroes and villains this is the show for you.
2. Castle
There is nothing better than Nathan Fillion… This show is one of my all-time favorites. Each episode, having a different murder mystery to solve, has you wondering till the end who in fact did it.
3. The Librarians
This show originally started with three movies. One day, just looking for something to watch I landed on one of the movies. The show is just moving into its third season. The Librarians takes historical ideas and twists them with fictional ideas and characters to make for an exciting show.
4. Blindspot
One of the newer shows this season, Blindspot is about a woman who shows up at the FBI with her entire body covered in tattoos. She has no idea who she is or what any of the tattoos are, but each tattoo seems to lead the FBI team on a mission that they would’ve never been able to solve without her.
5. Quantico
Also new this season, Quantico follows the paths of young FBI recruits, with twists involving why each wanted to join the FBI. One will be suspected for masterminding a terror attack on New York City.
6. Firefly
Another Nathan Fillion show, Firefly, could be done in a day, as it is only 14 episodes. If you’re looking for a combination of sci-fi and humor, you have found it here.
7. The Big Bang Theory
It is the unwritten rule that you should watch Firefly before The Big Bang Theory or you will only be able to understand half the jokes that Sheldon Cooper makes.
8. Royal Pains
Based in The Hamptons during the summer, this show follows the life of a concierge doctor and all the drama that comes from his job.
9. The Blacklist
One of the most complex and interesting shows I have watched, The Blacklist is a crime drama that has a twist in every episode. If you are a fan of James Spader, this show is for you.
10. New Girl
This show, what people are calling the modern day Friends, is one of the funniest shows I have watched.
11. Psych
If you’re looking for a good laugh, Psych, is a detective comedy-drama that is easy and fun to watch. With all of the seasons on Netflix, it’s just one episode after the next.
12. Friends
You can’t go wrong with Friends… All of the seasons are on Netflix, so if you haven’t watched it yet, add it to your list this winter.
13. Parenthood
This show is relatable to everyone. Parenthood is a drama that follows the Braverman family, all three generations, and all the ups and downs that life brings. This show is one of my favorite shows of all time.
