1. Eddie Redmayne is perfect as Newt Scamander.
From the instant he appeared on screen, I fell in love with him. From the way he cares about his creatures, to his shenanigans with Jacob, to his interactions with the Goldstein sisters, there wasn’t a moment that I did not like Newt.
2. Porpentina Goldstein is currently goals.
Look at her. She looks like she could kick your butt and look awesome while doing so, which, spoiler alert, is pretty much what she does. She also takes no crap, even when dealing with people who want nothing more than to put her down.
3. Jacob Kowalski, Sweetest No-Maj Ever
Sure, he opens the case and sets all the beasts lose, but really he’s an absolute cinnamon roll. Literally all he wants to do is open a bakery because food makes people happy and he wants to make people happy. How can you argue with that?
4. Queenie Goldstein is low-key the best.
At first I thought she would be a totally useless character, but I was totally wrong. Her love for her sister makes her willing to do anything, and the part where she uses the excuse of being on her period to make a quick getaway was wonderful. Also, Queenie and Jacob are my OTP and nobody can tell me otherwise.
5. Newt Scamander is the most Hufflepuff Hufflepuff to ever Hufflepuff.
6. The Erumpent Mating Dance

7. Pickett the Bowtruckle is the most adorable creature ever.
This part was heartbreaking! I wouldn't want to leave Newt either!
8. Swooping Evil is not as terrifying as it sounds.
9. The Niffler is as adorable as he is troublesome.
10. The amount of done Newt is with the Niffler.
He looks like such a disappointed parent here. He just wishes his small furry child would stop causing trouble.
11. Occamys are totally gorgeous.
Just look at that beautiful child. Look at it. I want to love it.
12. The suitcase is about the most wonderful thing ever.
