If you've ever seen FOX's TV show "Bob's Burgers" you're probably familiar with the oldest child, Tina Belcher. As any woman will remember, the age where we transition from a child into a "woman" is the most awkward and difficult time of any girl's life (and then there's high school). If there's one thing we know for certain, what Tina may lack in social skills she makes up for in personality. Even though she's considered a bit dorky, Tina Belcher is exactly who I wish I was when I was a teenager. Here are a few reasons why...
1. Tina's a simple person.
She doesn't go on and on about herself. She keeps everything about herself short and sweet and gets straight to the point.
2. Tina has some pretty cool fantasies.
Anything from dating zombies to riding up to shore on a Great White Shark. This girl has an imagination.
3. Her dating advice is amazing.
Let's face it, Tina has kissed way more guys than I did at 13. Plus, she somehow managed to pull Jimmy Jr. in with her charm bomb a few times.
4. She rocked her bad makeup stage.
Her not-so-best-friend Tammy may have peer pressured her into trying lipstick or mascara a few times over the years, but deep down Tina knows she's hot stuff.
5. She puts her bra on one boob at a time.
Tina doesn't value herself more than others, which is amazing for a teenage girl. In other words, Tina is not a selfish gal.
6. Tina Belcher is feisty.
Although she may look like a sweet teenage girl, Tina Belcher has a serious competitive side.
7. She expresses her feelings to her family.
The Belchers are super supportive of each other, which makes being a teenager 100% easier.
8. Tina is smooth with the boys.
She may be awkward but somehow guys fall for it. Maybe this move will work next time I'm restocking milk at the grocery store.
9. She struggled with learning how to drive as well.
Okay, so it may have been super illegal for her father Bob to let her drive the car at 13 years old, but it was in an empty parking lot, and yet she somehow managed to rear end the only car parked there.
10. Tina doesn't need a man.
At the end of the day, she knows that she doesn't need a man to make her feel complete in life.
11. She knows exactly what she likes.
Maybe it's a little strange that she still believes in Santa Claus at 13, but hey...Tina has a great taste in men. Australian firefighters? Who would pass that up.
12. Tina get's frustrated just like all of us.
Seriously, there were more than a few times when I was in school where stuffing myself in a locker was more appealing than dealing with some of my classmates.
13. She has great morals.
I may or may not have found this gif on a Bob's Burgers Tumblr fan page, but hey, it's still relevant. R.I.P the republican party.
