Dads do a lot more than we realize. When they aren't golfing or watching football, they are usually doing something for their wife or daughter.

They deserve endless love, so here are 13 reasons to love your dad each and every day.

1. He is your biggest fan

He supports you in school, sports, and anything else you decide to put your mind to. Dads who never missed a sporting event deserve to be recognized and loved.

2. He always listens

You know you can always call your dad to tell him good news, bad news, or just to talk about your day. He always listens and gives advice. Thank you, dad.

3. He is goofy

And you probably get that trait from him. No matter what he can always make you laugh.

4. He supports you in everything you do

One time, my dad sat through four shows of Into The Woods because I was Little Red. That is love and dedication to your daughter.

5. He tells it like it is

He tells you what you need to hear even if it isn't what you want to hear. This is called tough love, and it is finally appreciated after all those years of, "But dad!".

6. He protects you

My dad, at least, does everything in his power to make sure I'm safe. Whether that means chasing down bad guys or just calling to make sure I made it okay, he is always trying to protect me and I appreciate it more than he knows.

7. He is genuine

My dad is easily the most genuine guy out there. He has the biggest heart and is always wanting to help. I admire this so much!

8. He is hardworking

My dad makes goals and conquers them; nobody gets in his way. This has taught me so much in life! Whether is he training hard or working extra hours, he is doing it with a smile on his face.

9. He is a good coach

Plain and simple, my dad is a good coach. Whether at softball, golf, basketball, soccer, or ANYTHING he learns more about it to help me succeed.

10. He never lets you give up

My dad has learned a lot in his life and has taught me growing up to never quit and to never give up. Even when times get tough and you feel like it is your only choice, my dad has taught me to persevere and fight harder.

11. He cheers you up

One time, my dad used his day off work to come up to my college and see me because I was sick. He took me to Target to get some meds and also to lunch. We just hung out and had a mellow day, but i felt so much better hearing his stupid jokes and laughing.

12. He makes you laugh

Okay, maybe those stupid jokes aren't so stupid because they get me every time.

13. He was the guy who loved you first

And he will never stop! His love is unconditional.

Thank you, dad, for all that you do, I love you so much!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
