It's no secret that "One Tree Hill" is one of the most popular series of all time. We all have our favorite characters, but I maintain that Brooke Davis is completely underrated.
1. She showed real growth.
In the earlier seasons, Brooke was very much a child. While Haley was an old soul from the beginning, Brooke took some time to find herself and find that maturity.
2. She was always there for her friends.
No matter when Haley needed her, she would be there for her.
3. She became an amazing businesswoman.
Brooke Davis built Clothes Over Bros to be the brand that she wanted to see, as well as the change she wanted to see. She even used it as a body positivity platform.
4. She realized her self-worth.
Before she could help other, though, she had to help herself. She didn't always think the most of herself, but once she did, she wouldn't accept anything less than she deserved.
5. She didn't need no man.
Sure, in the beginning, she hopped from guy to guy, but once she realized her self-worth, she realized she didn't need anyone to complete her.
6. But was open to the idea of one.
Sure, it took a little convincing, but she got her happy ending.
7. She's a great mom.
After spending so long wanting to have kids, when she finally got the boys, she became such a great mom. Including driving around Tree Hill at all hours of the night.
8. She knew how to dress.
I mean she owned her own clothing line, for goodness sake.
9. She defied expectations.
Teenage party girl with absent parents becomes... a successful business owner?
10. She dealt with Lucas.
Let's be real. That took real patience. His broodiness has been known to get on people's nerves a time or two.
11. She didn't let him get between her and Peyton.
Hear me out on this one. For a while, he definitely drove a wedge between the two, but at the end of the day, they were still best friends.
12. She knew how she wanted to live her life.
"I just want to live a life I'm going to remember, even if I don't write it down.
13. She's strong.
"There's a day when you realize that you're not just a survivor, you're a warrior. You're tougher than anything (life) throws your way."
