With Halloween just around the corner, it's only appropriate to prepare by binge-watching all the scary movies you possibly can. However, not everyone has the guts to sit through the horror and gore of the scary movie section on Netflix. How can you celebrate Halloween without scaring yourself? Here is a list of the 13 least scary Halloween movies.

"Casper the Friendly Ghost"

How could a cute little ghost be scary?

"Halloweentown"

It’s a Disney Channel movie and, therefore, not scary.


"Hocus Pocus"

Scary? No. Charming, laughable and fun? Obviously.

"Haunted Mansion"

Everyone’s favorite ride at Disney parks.

"Phantom of the Opera"

Not scary, just hauntingly beautiful.


"Prom Night"

It may be your worst nightmare, but bad acting makes for a funny show.

"Nosferatu" (1992)

It is hard to make a silent film truly scary.


"Sharknado"

The newest cult classic—so stupid it will make you cringe in terror.

I think we all know the plot by now.

It really is more amusing and goofy than anything else.

It may be about dead people, but absolutely not scary.

Anything involving Christmas just cannot be scary.
