Halloween is right around the corner, ghouls. What better way to get in the mood than to watch what goes bump in the night? You don't need all of the gore and sleepless nights to get your creep on. Halloween is the time to see the unreal become real and to let go of all the limitations reality sets. You can embrace everything about Halloween as a nightly fiend yourself! Here are 13 shows and movies to start your party.

1. The Addams Family

It's nearly impossible to beat the classics. This family makes scary classy. You can practice your snapping skills to this flick as you become creepy, cooky, and mysteriously spooky.

2. American Horror Story

The beauty of the show is there's a different theme each season, letting you can pic your poison. With five seasons on Netflix and the sixth airing, you're sure to get your fill of fear.

3. The Corpse Bride

What kind of list would this be without Tim Burton? Well, not a great one. Enter the Land of the Dead with Victor in this brilliant stop-motion musical.

4. The Babadook

Never trust random appearances from creepy books unless you're trying to get rid of your roommates. If you scare easily, watch with the lights on.

5. Attack on Titan

Find out if humanity will dodge extinction by the hands (and teeth) of the terrifying titans. This animation is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat as you unlock the mysteries. Be warned the cliffhanger will really have you hanging.

6. Stranger Things

This series took the world by storm and you already know that you'll see plenty of 11 costumes this weekend. This Netflix original is totally lovable, but the upside down is definitely not what I have in mind for a vacation destination.

7. Curse of Chucky

You're favorite "Good Guy" doll is back for more tricks. Chucky is back to reap more havoc in the latest installment of the series. If you loved Child's Play, get ready because he's back and better than before.

8. Dead Silence

Dolls are popular in horror. Dead Silence will have you looking at them or looking away from them in a totally new way. Whatever you do, don't scream.

9. Scream 2

What do you do when a masked murderer follows you to college? You DON'T ask them to be your roommate but you should check out the sequel to the classic thriller.

10. Scream (the tv series)

Couldn't get enough screams in? Luckily, MTV has got us covered. Watch these teens go head to head with the killer as they play his/her game.

11. Goosebumps

R.L Stine has been the face of horror for us since we were kids. Go down memory lane and relive the terrors of "The Night of the Living Dummies", "The Mask", "A Night In Terror Tower", and many, many more.

12. Supernatural

The Winchester brothers took on some pretty scary monsters throughout the years. From ghosts to dragons, they have you covered.

13. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Last but certainly not least is Buffy. Not many can say that they're destined to hunt the undead. Follow your favorite slayer as she averts the apocalypse. All in a day's work, right?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
