No college student is a stranger to being sick, but when it happens during finals week when stress is at its peak? No thank you. Luckily, the Fab Five are here (in GIF format, anyway) to provide you some wholesomeness and joy in this trying time (by the way, if you haven't watched Netflix's new original series "Queer Eye" yet, then you're seriously missing out). The show promotes ways for people to be the best versions of themselves that they can be, so sit back with your hot tea and cough drops to take a break from studying!

1. When you start feeling a scratch in your throat in the middle of your notes and you realize the ride you're about to be in for

BRB, on my way to get all the Vitamin C.

2. When people start commenting on your ailing appearance

I'm talking paleness on top of undereye bags from those all-nighters you've been pulling recently.

3. When you gather all the medicine you can find to help your symptoms and hit the cash register

Don't even get me started on how expensive the brand names are. Too bad I can't sell my textbooks back yet.

4. When you try to drink beverages better suited to help your sickness rather than that large coffee you've been eyeing

"I'll get a coffee now and drink plenty of water later!" is the biggest lie you'll tell yourself.

5. When you hit up your mom for health solutions

I need to do WHAT now!?

6. When you try to figure out how to get all your final projects done while still trying to get enough sleep to feel better

There is not enough time in the day nor remedies in the world.

7. When you look up and realize you're in a sea of notes, syllabi, and tissues

I swear I JUST took the garbage out.

8. When you try to maintain a positive attitude after a day of sniffling and shuffling around campus even though all you want to do is crawl into bed

This will last approximately five more seconds when you finally arrive back home and all, but then you'll collapse on the nearest surface.

9. When you try to convince yourself that you'll be fine on the exam if you nap instead of study

I wish this only happened when I was sick, but sometimes naps seem too good to pass up.

10. When your family/friends bring you things to make you feel better

Except you may opt for giving them an air hug instead if you're trying to isolate your contaminants.

11. When you say goodbye to your last two cares in the world and just try to do your best with what you have

Don't let the mess trip you on the way out!

P.S., I know it is easier said than done, but sometimes you just have to realize carrying all that stress isn't doing your health any good! Put effort into your work and try to get a good grade, but remember that it's not the end of the world if you have to retake the class.

12. When you finally start to feel better

I feel BRAND NEW! Wait, still a little bit dizzy.

13. When the week is finally over and its time for a well-deserved rest

Now that you're all done, kick back with the Fab Five and rest your body up before the next term starts.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
