If this were 1969, you might be able to say you were an adult because you went all three days at Woodstock and then went to work the following day. Today, Millennials have their own reasons for why they think they are adults. Some of these are true, some are a stretch, others are things everyone has to endure, yet somehow means more if you are over the age of 18.

I am an adult because . . .

Unfortunately, we all have to grow up someday and become active citizens of this confusing country we call home.

Fortunately, we all get to grow up. Not at once, but by the minute, hour and day. Each of us, becoming active citizens of this confusing, free country we call home.
