Working at the front desk of the dorm is one of the best jobs that a college student can have. Most of the time, you get to hang out, do homework and watch Netflix. It's the best! Working the night shift is a great way to see some of the most entertaining sights that occur in a dorm. Here are 13 facts that everyone who works the night shift knows to be true!
1. How you feel when you realize that you have to work later that night.

And all you want to do is fall asleep for the rest of the night, but you're actually worried you won't wake up in time for work. Taking a nap always wins.
2. You have had, at a minimum, one cup of coffee. You probably had two cups before you left and brought one with you for the beginning 15 minutes of your shift.
To be honest, coffee is your lifeblood.
3. When you walk in at midnight and are feeling pretty good.
You probably took a nap beforehand and are pretty confident you can stay awake all night.
4. How you feel at 2 a.m. when all you can think about is food.
And that pizza pocket you brought with you is majorly calling your name.
5. When you're determined to do your homework and it's actually going well.
And you actually end up getting a bunch of homework done.
6. When 3 a.m. comes around and you can't do anymore homework.
Your brain is completely fried and all you want to do is turn on Netflix.
