They say college is supposed to be the best years of our lives, but nobody told me about the annoying or the extremely relatable occurrences that my fellow peers and I will ensue. My favorite "Rick and Morty" episode “Meeseeks and Destroy” is chock full of moments that accurately represent the how it feels to experience these inevitable incidences.

Here are 13 ways the character, Mr. Meeseeks, describes the emotions every college student feels during these commonly shared moments that happen during their academic careers.

1. 8 a.m. classes.

You may think you can handle them, but you can't. I'm letting you know right now, you can't.

2. Your bank account after spending hundreds of dollars on textbooks.

*Poof* goes the money. When did I suddenly have negative four dollars??

3. When you have to pass a gen-ed class that has no relation to your major whatsoever.

I don't want to take math classes...I'm a journalism major??? But I mean, I need that A so I guess I'll put effort into it.

4. When you have a group project, a presentation, three exams, and nine homework assignments due, all within a week.

Add in a part-time job and you're bound to just....cry. A lot.

5. And then the mental break-down hits.

Seriously, when I have so much going on I hardly have time to eat, let alone do anything fun, you're mental state dwindles to nearly nothing.

6. When it's finally the weekend.

Hallelujah! I don't have to set an alarm and I can stay in bed until three o'clock if I want.

7. Posting pictures on Instagram with your friends, hoping for a bunch of likes.

"We look so cute! What should my caption be?"

8. Getting to meet new friends when you go out to the bars.

Those girls who stand next to you in line for the club or the bathroom, they're your best friends now. Until you leave and never see them again.

9. When you get ghosted after a Tinder date.

Or if you're the ghost-er I guess this could relate to you too.

10. That e-mail from your teacher saying their canceling class.

*Rolls back over and sleeps for another hour*

11. Forgetting you had an assignment due at midnight.

We've all been there, the "moment of realization."

12. That ONE teacher that won't curve tests or your final grade.

I feel like this gif accurately represents what it's like to be near failing in a class with a teacher that doesn't curve final grades.

13. But once it's a break and you get to go home to your friends and family...

My own bed, my own shower, home-cooked meals, and my cat!!! Oh, how I've missed you. College who?

I don't know about you, but Mr. Meeseeks sums my thoughts and feelings about college perfectly.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
