Back in the day, the best part of a Friday night was waiting for the new Disney Channel Original Movie to premier. Let's take a look at some of the wonderful movies that tend to be overlooked during reminiscing sessions. Here are some of the forgotten:
1. "Susie Q" (1996)
2. "The Paper Brigade" (1996)
3. "Genius" (1999)

So this movie is apparently so obscure now that you can't even find a trailer for it. If you don't remember, this movie was about a child genius, Charlie, who creates a new identity so he can make some friends that are his own age. Starring a baby Emmy Rossum and Trevor Morgan (who is kind of a babe, now).
4. "The Color of Friendship" (2000)

Remember when Disney channel got real for a second?
Remember now???
5. "Alley Cats Strike" (2000)

What do you get when you mix the early 2000s, retro teenagers, and a bowling rivalry? Disney Channel Original Movie magic.
6. "Phantom of the Megaplex" (2000)
7. "Stepsister from Planet Weird" (2000)

In case you forgot, this one's about a girl who finds out that her stepsister and stepdad are really aliens from outer space.
8. "The Other Me" (2000)

So, Andy Lawrence clones himself so that his clone can go to school while he stays home all day and plays video games (a new level of lazy, no doubt). While at school, his clone finds out that frozen pizza rocks, and then this happens:
And it was wonderful.
9. "Up, Up and Away!" (2000)

In this one, Shia LaBeouf plays a handicapped boy who becomes the focus of his twin's homemade documentary.

(Throwback to music video trailers.)
