Recently the hashtag #GrowingUpWithSiblings became popular again. People with siblings all over the world tweeted out only things siblings could understand, relate to, or remember from growing up.

Here are 12 of my favorite tweets, that related perfectly to how I remember growing up with a sibling:

1. Fighting over the front seat

The front seat always is a right of passage for older siblings, but sometimes the younger one just doesn't get it. You always run to the car, calling shot gun, and fighting over the front seat!

2. Monkey See, Monkey Do

Anything you see your sibling have, or doing; you just have to have or do the exact same thing!

3. Trying to annoy your siblings..

The best way to annoy your sibling, is by saying "I'm not touching you" and holding your finger just a few inches away. This one always got my brother all kinds of angry!

4. Going a little too far..

From "I'm not touching you", to not knowing your own strength and hitting them a little too hard. You try and stop their crying (and save your own butt from trouble) by convincing them it was barely a tap.

5. Fighting over who's going to use the bathroom first.

After a long car ride, it was always a race to get to the bathroom first (even if you didn't have to go that bad). Anything to annoy or beat your siblings

6. Miss-blamed

Usually one of you is trying to get the other in trouble for something they did...or didn't do. Sometimes the blame gets mixed up and you're in trouble for something you didn't do.

7. Punishment for two.

You spent so much time trying to get each other in trouble, sometimes mom gets fed up and you're both in trouble. And then of course, it's the other siblings fault you're in this mess now.

8. The "Mom" said tacit

This one is more for the older siblings, who got stuck babysitting. This trick was a personal favorite of mine. Mom and Dad left the house, so you're in charge but the younger sibling doesn't feel like listening. So you pretend Moms on the line, and scare your sibling into doing what you said!

9. There's always a favorite sibling.

Every group or pair of siblings knows, that one of them gets away with more stuff, and just might be the favorite. You utilize that to get your parents to say yes more often!

10. "THAT'S YOU"

Another sibling classic- this one speaks for itself! The ugliest character is always your sibling. Always in good fun!

11. Tricking them...

If you touched it last, you take care of it- that's just the siblings rule!

12. But deep down you guys love each other

Through all the teasing, tricking, and fighting you guys do have your moments. Even though sometimes mom takes those as you just fighting too!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
