Phineas and Ferb have something that we all wish we could have, a summer that never seems to end. Even though the theme song says “There’s 104 days of summer vacation,” there have been 222 episodes of "Phineas and Ferb," and they typically have two days of summer in each episode, so their summer lasted around 444 days. If that’s not a summer goal on its own, every single day of summer they built or did something cool, and it set us up with high hopes for our summers.
1. When they built a beach in their backyard.
The things I would give to live on the beach...
2. That time they had winter in summer, and it was the perfect temperature.
"Winter in summer... Let's call it S'winter!" Also an accurate description for when its 80 degrees in December.
3. When they wanted to get their parents something special for their anniversary, so they got their favorite band back together.
This episode featured some amazing musical numbers, and it made everyone smile when they finally got the band back together.
4. When they gave us unrealistic expectations for summer games of putt-putt.
Mini golf is a summer staple, but this episode had that disco miniature golf section and all these cool ways to play mini golf, it ruined regular mini golf for everyone.
5. That episode they completely dedicated to explaining what an aglet is.
If you didn't know that the little hard shell on the end of your shoelace is called an aglet, you knew it after this episode. Shout out to Phineas and Ferb for making learning about something so boring so interesting.
6. And speaking of musical numbers, what about the time they made a hit single?
"Bow, chicka, bow-wow, that's what my baby said. Mow, mow, mow, and my heart starts pumpin'. Oh, Chicka, chicka, chew-wop, never gonna stop. Gitchee-gitchee-goo means that I love you!" The catchiest love song you'll hear all summer.
7. Who needs a theme park when you can just build a roller coaster that goes through your town?
How their parents missed this one, I'm not really sure.
8. When they built those crazy tree houses that doubled as robots and that had tree house fights.
Back at it again with the unrealistic expectations. These things were so cool.
9. That time when they built the coolest car wash ever.
These kids can't even drive and they built the best car wash ever. I would wash my car at least once a week if I could take it through this.
10. When they built and hosted their own game show in their backyard.
"Fine Tralfazz." This game made absolutely no sense, and that made it so much better.
11. When they revamped bowling.
Bowling is normally a final resort when you can't find anything to do, but they revamped it and made it the game you'll be wishing you could play all summer.
12. When they finally had a day where they were bored, but still found a way to keep themselves entertained.
The day they actually decided to do nothing... Which is what he majority of us are going to do for summer.
