With more than a month of school under your belt, it's time for exams, chaos, and no control in your life. It's good to know that while you are going through a crazy days, weeks, or even months, other people are, too. These people just have a way of knowing how you feel about your college classes.

1. When professors start asking questions about your personal life.

2. When syllabus week is over, and professors start making you do actual work.

3. When you have an early class, and attendance doesn't count.

4. When your professor gives you the answers to the homework, and they are nowhere close to matching yours.

5. When the professor asks a question in class, and everyone stares at each other.

6. When the professor greets your class on exam day and asks how you are doing.

7. You look at your exam and forget everything you crammed for six hours to remember.

8. When you hand in your exam and your professor reminds you that you still have a five-page paper due next class.

9. And then you have two more exams tomorrow.

10. When your professor returns an exam you thought you failed miserably, but you actually got a passing grade.

11. When your Friday class is over and the seemingly craziest week of your life finally ends.

12. But don't worry, Monday and another hectic week of classes is only two days away.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
