If you don't know who Ben Rector is, you are missing out.

1. " More Like Love"

A personal favorite, "More Like Love" is a song everyone should listen to. It inspires me to think about how much love can change a situation for the better. " This whole world is spinning crazy and I can't quite keep up. It's the one thing around here that we don't have quite enough of." It's true, the more we try to exemplify what love looks like, the more things improve.

2. "Thank God For The Summertime"

Everyone loves summer. Especially if you're like me and you have to endure the Wisconsin winters in order to bask in the summer sun. So this song is relatable on so many levels as a I cherish these last few moments of summer and roll into my least favorite season.

3. "The Men That Drive Me Place"

This song is among my favorites. It brings tears to my eyes, and fills my heart. Ben wrote this song on personal experience, showing his raw passion for other people and their stories. It shows how important it is to be humble and pay attention to the people around us. There are extraordinary stories and people out there and we can find them if we just open our eyes a little bigger.

4. "Follow You"

As a Man of God, Ben Rector's songs can occasionally hold references to his faith. This song is such an accurate representation of how simple and how amazing God's love is. "Leave all of your troubles, leave all of your sorrow, set down your burdens, come on and follow". It's as simple as that. Let go of the negative and trust in the Lord with your whole heart- the best advice a song could give.

5. "When I'm With You"

Love or not love, when you're with someone you should be completely content. No worries, a breath of fresh air. This is good to keep in mind when being a around people and deciding who makes you the best version of yourself.

6."Making Money"

Money is such a worshiped tangible item in our culture. This song questions this obsession with making money, when it's not even close to the most important thing in life. "And I know that life ain't cheap, and not all good things are free, but there is no enough and no too much" Money can't buy complete happiness, so why waste time thinking it does.

7. "Crazy"

A laugh out loud funny song, the epitome of Ben Rector's personality. This song shows what it means to be happy in any situation. Just because you aren't doing what other people are doing for fun, embrace what you love and have fun with it!

8. " If You Can Hear Me"

Another song about faith. At times we all feel lost and like no one is listening, but perseverance is key. The Lord is always listening so stay consistent even when you're not sure if He can hear you, peace is on its way.

9. "Life Keeps Moving On"

Life may seem to be in a standstill at times but thanks to this song we are reassured that is keeps moving sometimes at a slower pace. It always keeps moving.

10. " Like The World Is Going To End"

Everyone knows the acronym YOLO ( you only live once) But this song puts a different perspective on that famous saying. Ben Rector makes us think deeper about what we would specifically do and how we would spend our precious time if the world was going to end. Its a thought provoking song and I love it.

11. "Sailboat"

Sailboat gives a clear analogy of what it feels like to be lost, but guided home by the Lord and his love. A sailboat doesn't have a motor, it relies on the wind to guide it home, just as we have to rely on a higher power to guide us.

12. 30,000 Feet

This song is an amazing story. It demonstrates how on a microscale life feels like it is hard and bad, but when you look at it from the big picture it doesn't seem so bad. When you look at all the things you have been blessed with, it seems much better than you might have thought. So just go hop on an airplane.

Ben Rector is top 3 on my artist roster. His music is so fun-loving at times, but other times holds a deeper, more special meaning that gets me through life. Im a sucker for his voice too.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
