Growing up, I missed the big craze and obsession of "One Tree Hill." I'm not sure at the time why this show was such an obsession for many, but now, watching it as a 21-year-old, I realized what I missed out on. I'm glued to the computer and TV while watching this show and I'm very upset that I wasn't into it sooner. Here are some thoughts that I have had while watching the show.
1. Lucas Scott is probably one of the sweetest, most genuine guy throughout the show.
Can we also talk about how much of a hunk he is.
2. Haley and Nathan are goals.
Of course, we all know tutor girl falls in love with Nathan Scott the typical relationship any girl in high school wants, but their love for each other even makes me jealous of what they have.
3. Seeing Michael Copon play a bad boy in the show, reminds me of when he played Penn in "Bring It On: In It To Win It."
Definitely a difference in character portrayal but still the same hunk
4. Can I be Brooke Davis?
This girl has got to be my favorite character in the show. She is not afraid to be who she is and doesn't let that go unnoticed.
5. Two words: Dan Scott. He is probably the most villainous character in TV history.
Okay I may be wrong considering that there are many other characters in television history who would fit this title better, but I know as a young child but even now I would be scared of him and his conniving ways.
6. I would love to learn how to be as strong as P-Sawyer.
The amount of events that Peyton goes through throughout the show you think as a young girl in high school she wouldn't be as strong. From her mother passing away when she was little to loosing herself when Jake left shows you that she's much stronger than most people.
7. TRIC
Can we just talk about how awesome it would be to have a nightclub in your own town like the one in Tree Hill? I mean I think it would be a nice gathering for everyone to enjoy.
8. Realizing that "Mouth" is Minkus from Boy Meets World.
Realizing this comparison has made me reminisce my childhood.
9. The real question is, "Where are all the parents?"
Where are the parents? I know as a child and a teenager half the things these kids get away with wouldn't have been acceptable at my age.
10. Jake Jagielski has to be the best example of how a single young father should be.
His motivation to be a good dad for Jenny, sets a good example for young dads who are raising kids on their own.
11. When Lucas Scott lies to his mother about having HCM, makes me wonder if he was doing it to protect her or just to be an asshole?
I'm not sure if its because I am older I question Lucas and his actions towards his mother, but I know for me if it was something serious that I was diagnosed with, my mother would be the first to know. I don't like to keep secrets from her.
12. Is it just me or does anyone else think how crazy it is that Jana Kramer is on this show!
I don't care what anyone says, Jana Kramer is an absolute beauty. I have never been more excited to see her in "One Tree Hill."
