12 Thoughts College Students Have At 2:00 AM, Repeatedly

Let's be honest guys, we're college students.

That means most of us have some pretty weird sleeping habits. Whether you're a classic night owl, can't fall sleep or just woke up randomly in the night, at some point you have found yourself awake at 2:00 a.m.

I'm the classic night owl type so I'm pretty much always awake well past midnight. This means I've had a lot of experience with late night thoughts and I thought I'd share some of those thoughts with you today.

1. I really need black-out curtains.

2. I wonder what Kate Middleton is doing right now.

3. CRAP did I do that homework?

4. Why is the underside of the pillow always cooler? Shouldn’t it be warmer because I’m pressing it into the bed?

5. I should do laundry tomorrow…..nah.

6. I can totally watch one more 45 minute episode in 20 minutes!

7. Every dog is a good dog.

8. What if a spider falls on my head when I’m sleeping?

9. What was the noise? There’s no such thing as ghosts, there’s no such thing as ghosts.....

10. Wait….did my professor say the paper was due this week or next week?

11. If I fall asleep right now, I’ll get to sleep for 6 hours and 17 minutes.

And the most important thought of all…......

12. I can’t wait to nap tomorrow.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. There's no other place you'd rather be in the summer.

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.

You know the best beaches and coves to go to.

You have no patience for the guy who can't back his trailer into the water right.

Doing the friendly wave to every boat you pass.

The cooler is always packed, mostly with beer.

Giving the idiot who goes 30 in a "No Wake Zone" a piece of your mind.

You have no problem with peeing in the water.

You know the frustration of getting your anchor stuck.

Watching in awe at the bigger, better boats that pass by.

Knowing any swimsuit that you own with white in it is best left for the pool or the ocean.

The momentary fear for your life as you get launched from the tube.
