I was lucky enough to know how to do a lot of things that many college students need help with (*cough* *cough* laundry). I was surprised by how many people did not know how to do simple tasks that a person needs to live on their own. Nevertheless, living away from home and by yourself for the first time can be scary. You don’t realize how much you need your mom for help until you actually leave. Whether you need her for advice, to vent to, or to simply just tell her that you miss her, she is always there.

1. How do I cook (fill in the blank)?

2. I'm sick and feel like I'm dying. What medicine should I take?

3. I need money.

4. How many days left until break?

5. How does this laundry machine thing work?

6. What is the Netflix/Hulu username/password?

7. Can I drop out yet?

8. I got an A on my (fill in the blank) test!

9. Can you believe what so-and-so did today?

10. How many semesters do I have left until I graduate?
