It's my favorite time of the year and I am just too excited for all of the fun things I have planned this season! From enjoying the weather to having movie nights with friends, fall just has a way of bringing people together. To help you have the most fun fall yet, I've put together a list of my favorite things to do! Follow this list and you are sure to have the perfect fall experience. Happy fall y’all!
1.Go to the pumpkin patch with your friends.
There is one fall tradition that I have to do every year: take a trip to the pumpkin patch! Visiting the pumpkin patch and picking out the perfect pumpkin to set on my porch puts me in the mood for fall.
2. Watch Halloween movies.
Although scary movies are not my first choice, fall just makes me want to grab some popcorn and have a scary movie night with my best friends! I recommend watching “Hocus Pocus” because it is the best not too scary, classic Halloween movie.
3. Pull out the fall wardrobe.
The best part of my closet is definitely my fall wardrobe. Nothing is better than jeans, a cute sweater, a scarf, and the perfect pair of little booties! Fall clothes are the cutest, and I am always eager to pull those clothes out of my closet.
4. Grab your PSL.
Need I say more? The pumpkin spice latte is the first mark of fall. I know cold weather is coming when Starbucks decides to release their famous PSL for the season.
5. Change it up.
The changing of leaves comes the time to change your summer hairstyle to more of a fall style. Personally, I went from brown with blonde highlights to all dark brown. Fall is the time to try darker colors and have fun with it!
6. Pick out the perfect costume.
Halloween is right around the corner! It is time to make sure that you have the perfect costume for your Halloween parties. It takes time to get the right costume that will be perfect to post on your Instagram.
7. Decorate your house (or dorm room).
The key to staying in the spirit this fall is to decorate your house, or if you are a freshman like me, your dorm room! Waking up to burlap wreaths, cotton cobwebs, pumpkins, and cute little signs is the perfect way to enjoy fall all day.
8. Enjoy the leaves.
It doesn’t matter how old you are, we all still have that inner child inside of us. Rake up the leaves that cover your yard and have some good old fashion fun by jumping into
9. Watch Charlie Brown.
“It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” is a classic fall movie that never gets old. It appeals to audiences of all ages, and it is the perfect film to gather around the television and watch with your family.
10. Buy candy corn.
Who doesn’t like candy corn? I anticipate fall every year because that is when the best seasonal candy comes out. Stock up because fall will be over before you know it!
11. Football games.
One of the best things about fall is the football games (Boomer Sooner of course). Nothing compares to Saturday tailgates and watching a great football game with your best friends.
12. Eat s’mores.
A late night bonfire with s’mores and friends makes for a perfect fall night. There is just something special about being under the stars, cuddled up under a big hoodie that makes for a good night. Stuffing your face with s’mores is pretty fun too.
