We all know someone who dyes their hair more than they probably should. If not, then you are that person. You can't blame them, though. Dying your hair can be fun and exciting, but it can also have some consequences. Here are the things that people who dye their hair often know too well.

1. Your hair has turned out a different color than expected.

On the box, the model looks beautiful and the color is so perfect. You are disappointed to see that after you put it on your hair and patiently waited, it did not come out how you wanted it too.

2. You must decide if you are going to rock it or change it again.

So it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. Are you going to rock it? Can you pull it off? Or should you dye it again, but risk more damage?

3. You love bleach, but hate it at the same time.

Bleach can work wonders. It's like you are starting from scratch. Once you have bleached your hair you can dye it pretty much any color now. The downside to bleach is the damage it will do to your hair.

4. Your hair has felt like spaghetti or straw at one point.

It's a scary feeling when you touch your hair and it feels like it will fall out when you brush it. You never want your hair to be in this condition, but if you damage it enough, it likely will.

5. You have been told advice from a hairdresser like, "Treat your hair like it's gold."

They can see how bad the damage is, but you don't want to believe it. Never lie to your hairdresser about what you have done to your hair. You must treat your hair like it is gold while it is in the repairing process. Brush it gently and no heat, please!

6. You find a lot of hair in your brushes.

You try to treat it gently, but it is still weak from dying it too often and falls out every time you brush it.

7. Coconut oil is your best friend.

You have probably discovered the amazing coconut oil. It's fairly inexpensive, natural, and works as an excellent deep conditioner.

8. It's hard for you to grow long hair.

If you dye it too often, you will have to get it trimmed more often. How are you ever going to get long hair if you have to keep dying it!?

9. The hairdresser has told you that you need to take more than an inch off.

You came in for a trim, but your hair really needs more than that. Eh, short haircuts are in right now, anyway. Hair is just hair, it will grow back!

10. You get bored with your hair color easily.

You love new hairstyle trends. One week you might be blonde, the next brunette, and the next pink! It's hard for you to settle on a permanent color.

11. Dealing with your roots.

Ugh, if only your roots could grow in the same color as your dyed hair. Wouldn't that be so much easier? It's hard to maintain.

12. Hearing the question, "What's your natural hair color?"

"Um, I don't know." You've been dying your hair for as long as you can remember and now your roots are a different color than when they were as a child.

There you have it. I'm sure if you have dyed your hair a few times you have experienced some of the above. Treat your hair like it's gold and have fun!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
