12 Things Only Food-Obsessed People Can Relate To

Let's face it, at one time or another we've all liked food more than people.

I feel like I need to start out with a disclaimer that I am not actually morbidly overweight, but I absolutely love food. I mean, I love food so much that I will plan my daily schedule around when I will eat my meals.

I am that friend that gets legitimately mean when I don't eat for a while, and I feel joy from watching cooking videos. If you are like me, then you understand the struggles of always being that guy thats always hungry. And if you aren't like me, well then maybe you can understand my pain a little better.

1. You have a plan of each meal of the day before your day even begins.

2. You wouldn't dare leave the house without loading up on some backup snacks.

3. You go to bed each night with pure excitement for breakfast when you wake up.

4. A social outing really isn't complete without some kind of meal.

5. Going to a new city? Don't worry, you've already made a list of the best restaurants.

6. You tell time throughout the day by what you've eaten.

7. Your friends know they can always count on you for a brunch buddy.

8. The way to your heart truly is through your stomach.

9. Giving directions? Yeah just take a right at the Chipotle and go until you see the place with the amazing burgers.

10. Hangry is NO JOKE.

11. Bad day? At least there's leftover pizza in the fridge.

12. You will go anywhere if they're giving out free food.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
