Visiting your best friend from high school at their college is an experience like no other. Not everyone is lucky enough to get the chance to. But if you do, you will find yourself counting down the days and minutes until you will be finally reunited with your bff.


1. You get so excited to see them

Whether it's been a week or two months, you will run and give them a huge hug


2. You realize that they actually have other friends besides you


You've seen the Instagrams, but until you meet your friend’s college friends in person, you wonder if they actually exist.


3. You wonder if their new friends will like you


And you wonder what things they've heard about you.


4. You think the food at their school is so much better than yours

You'll walk into their dining hall like you are walking into the gates of heaven. So many new food options, you can’t even decide.


5. Your friend has become your own personal tour guide


They show you all around their campus and you will try to act like you know where you're going, meanwhile, you have no idea.


6. They will ask you what you want to eat



And you'll just get whatever they want because that's easier than walking around their dining hall awkwardly by yourself.


7. This is your last night out together for a very long time, so you want to make the most of it

“OK, we need to take a lot of pics and look really hot tonight."


8. You bond with your friend’s college friend over her weird habits

And you will proceed to talk about her when she leaves the room.


9. No matter how long the drive is, it's always worth it


Even if they are a thousand miles away, you will find a way to get there.


10.You realize this is their new home

Whether you like it or not, this is their home that you aren’t really a part of.


11. You both get really sad when you have to leave soon

See you in a few months, bud.


12.You can't help being so happy for your bff

Seeing your friend in their element makes you feel all sorts of amazing emotions. Even though you don’t see them as much as you did in high school, all you want is for them to be happy.
