On Jan. 5, 2014, I received my first message from the chica who would eventually become not only my roommate, but best friend. Seeing as though we've gotten so close that we have absolutely no boundaries anymore, I thought I would include these 12 lovely gems from our conversations which prove that I have the incredible privilege of living with my best friend. Maybe you'll relate to some — or maybe we're just really strange.
1. When she sends you completely random pictures out of context:

I don't know where this mysterious treasure trove of pictures comes from, but keep them coming.
3. She's your own personal stalker:
Because the best roomies know each others whereabouts all the time.
4. When something comes up in your Timehop and you remember the exact context of where and what happened:
Inside jokes from a year ago are a serious matter.
5. Scoring a date = scoring your roomie a date too.
Even though you realize your movie/ice cream dates are always much more fun, and 99% of the time opt to go on one of those instead.
6. The first person you text anytime anything happens or anyone is seen is her:
Any event that happens to your roomie is an interesting event.
7. She has more ugly pictures of you than anyone else does:

You somehow always know what the other one means.
9. When there are no boundaries between you two:
10. No boundaries.
11. Literally no boundaries.
Side note: This was a joke with a mutual friend. If your roommate actually has actual sex on your actual bed, you should be very concerned.
12. You pine for each other even when you're far away:
Even when times get rough, rooming with your best friend means a guaranteed hug, an inspirational note and so many memories that you will talk about forever and ever.
