I've worked with the public for years, and with the things I've witnessed I could have probably written a book, already. Here are some things that I have seen over the years.

1. People try to pocket something right in front of you, then deny it when you ask.

2. "The limit says four, so can I buy six?"

3. "I only came in for one thing, yet I'm leaving with a cart full of stuff."

4. "I just printed that $100 bill last night."

5. "She has 13 items. This line says 12 items or less."

6. "Triple bag the bread, please."

7. "Tell my child if he doesn't behave, he isn't getting this toy."

8. "Your total is $106.79."

"Wait! I've got coupons!"

9. "Do you work here?"

10. "Don't start ringing until I've put everything up on the belt."

11. "Can you give me my employee discount?"

12. "Where's the bathroom?"
