12 Signs You've Found The Right Guy

You just kind of know.

12 Signs You've Found The Right Guy

If your guy doesn't live up to these 12 signs, send him packin' because he's not the one for you.

1. You can be yourself around him.

It might take awhile to completely open up, but when you do you're able to do so fully. There's no holding back around him. He's seen you at your worst and he's seen you at your weirdest.

2. He makes you laugh.

I mean, how does a relationship work without laughter? And I'm talking about genuine, belly hurts after you're done, laughter. Whether it's the best inside jokes or he's just being a goof, he never fails to make you laugh.

3. He's patient with you.

He listens to your rants about the latest girl drama, he basically deserves a medal for how long he's waited for you to shop, and he understands just how crazy you can be (especially that certain time of the month).

4. He motivates you.

If your guy isn't your biggest fan, he's doing it wrong. He brags about you and talks you up like no other. He constantly pushes you to be your best self and is your backbone when things get rough.

5. You never have to ask if you look OK because he's always reminding you how smokin' hot you look.

OK, so maybe not necessarily in those terms, but he constantly tells you how perfect you are to him. Even when you think you look like Gollum from The Lord of the Rings, he's there to insist you look just gorgeous.

6. Y'all can talk about the future together.

Even if it's lightyears away, you can share your dreams and ambitions with one another for this life. You feel comfortable talking about possible baby names you both like, places you want to live, and just about everything you hope to see in y'all's future because there's no doubt that there will be one.

7. You don't fight much at all.

He's slow to anger and is humble enough to admit when he's wrong. If y'all do fight, it's usually over something petty like what channel to watch.

8. Your happiness is his, and vice versa.

Whenever you see his face light up, yours does too. When you see him talking about something he's passionate about, you become just as excited.

9. You share the same values.

Sorry to break it to you honey, but if y'all are headed down two separate paths there is no merging. While it's OK to have some differences, you should generally be somewhere on the same page or there's gonna be some problems.

10. He doesn't give you much to complain about.

You know those friends that always have some boy drama to vent about? Well, that's not you. You kind of just have to sit there quietly and think to yourself how lucky you are. Sometimes you say the occasional "Oh no he knows better than to do that", but you really just can't relate. He's even living proof that chivalry is not dead.

11. He's your better half, your best friend.

Everything you do in life, you want him right there next to you. And if he's not there, it just doesn't feel right. You'd honestly rather stay in with him instead of going out to hang with girlfriends every night. Whether it's as simple as cooking dinner together or binge watching a show, you just like doing life together.

12. Life has thrown everything possible at your relationship, but something just keeps pulling y'all back together even stronger than before.

I don't know if it's some supernatural force or just fate altogether, but somehow the universe just knows y'all are meant to be. Your love for each other never stops growing despite all the obstacles you might face.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
